DELIVERY INFO
Impact Furniture store offers many furniture pieces on fast delivery. Please check delivery section of the product for exact delivery dates. We offer delivery as standard to Mainland English, Welsh, Lowland and Highland Scotland delivery locations (the green and yellow zones) and cannot deliver to off-shore locations (the red zone) except to the Isle of Wight and Anglesey.
Green and Yellow – Delivery Charge Payable Postcodes Delivery charges are based on your location and the weight and dimensions of the consignment. Delivery charge is automatically updated upon checkout prior to order confirmation once correct UK post code is entered.
Missing an agreed palletised delivery will result in a failed delivery charge.
Red – Undeliverable Postcodes
For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, and Channel Islands we will only be able to deliver to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port at the advised charge within the yellow zone, or green zone, onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that when goods are signed for as delivered undamaged by the freight-forwarder or port authority we are not liable for any damage incurred during onward shipping.
Delivery Timescale
Delivery dates are displayed next to the product price, and we aim to delivery within given dates.
Standard delivery charge applies to normal delivery times only. Normal delivery times are 8am – 6pm on working days only.
We do not deliver on weekends or bank holidays.
We aim to deliver as quickly as possible if the goods you ordered are in stock in a UK warehouse they are marked as FAST DELIVERY ITEM and generally that means delivery in 2-6 working days.
Pre Order items are for delivery within 3-4 weeks from the date of receipt of payment. Please note some items may be delivered slightly sooner or later than the above stated period. The long Pre Order items are for delivery within 4-6 weeks. At the time of order your delivery dates are stated and emailed along with the order.
When you place the order, you will receive an automatic e-mail from us confirming the order. We will contact you again a day prior to delivery to confirm the exact date.
If you have an urgent requirement, call us with the items you wish to order, your full delivery address and your latest delivery day and we will tell you if we can supply the products in time.
Where an order contains more than one item all items will be delivered at the same time once all items are available.
On the Day of the Delivery
We use different carriers depending on the size and weight of order.
Please be aware that our drivers are unaccompanied; they will not move or take away any existing goods or property and will not carry out assembly or installation of the goods.
Small to Medium Size items
Small to medium size items such as bedside tables, chests of drawers, wall unit, singular kitchen units, sinks and taps are delivered by DHL, DPD.
DHL / DPD emails tracking information to the customer prior to delivery and on the day of delivery will send SMS with approximate delivery times.
Delivery is to the external building door only – the driver will be unable to take the goods inside the building or upstairs – please note: first floor or higher flats count as a upstairs and as such delivery is to main building external door.
Large Size singular items
Large size singular items such as tall cabinets, wardrobes, beds, desks and long sideboards are delivered by Tuffnells / Yodel.
Tuffnells / Yodel send over email notifications with tracking a day prior to delivery.
Delivery is to the external building door only – the driver will be unable to take the goods inside the building or upstairs – please note: first floor or higher flats count as a upstairs and as such delivery is to main building external door.
Multiple item orders
Multiple item orders of large items such as bedroom sets, kitchen sets, children’s room sets, dining room sets, lift-up style beds or a combination of over three items will be delivered by palletised courier service.
Exact delivery date will be confirmed and agreed via a phone call to confirm the best weekday for delivery.
Goods are delivered on a pallet to the building door or kerbside depending on access available. Driver can pull the pallet to the desired location provided there is a smooth, wide enough path available.
Goods cannot be depalletised or carried inside by the delivery driver and please be aware the pallet cannot be taken away again by the driver after delivery.
With this service where a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier, but the customer isn’t present to receive the delivery we reserve the right to charge the customer the full cost of the failed delivery (a sum not more than £50.00)
